Job Description:
As a Senior Automation Engineer, one needs to be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated tests using the TestComplete tool with Javascript and work closely with development and QA teams to ensure the highest quality of software products.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using TestComplete for web applications.
- Execute automated test suites, analyze results, and report defects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and provide feedback on testability.
- Identify and implement improvements to our test automation framework.
- Mentor junior team members in test automation best practices and the use of TestComplete.
- Maintain detailed documentation of test procedures, test cases, and test results.
- Continuously stay updated on the TestComplete features to enhance the testing process.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
- Knowledge on other NodeJS Automation Tools.
Skills & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science.
- 5+ years of experience in software testing with a focus on test automation.
- Extensive experience with TestComplete, including script development and execution.
- Strong knowledge of programming languages such as JavaScript, Java, Python, or similar.
- Proficiency in creating and managing test data and test environments.
- Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
